MORNING GLORY CLOUD

The Morning Glory cloud is a rare meteorological phenomenon occasionally observed in different locations around the world. The southern part of the Gulf of Carpentaria in Northen Australia is the only known location where it can be predicted and observed on a more or less regular basis due to the configuration of land and sea in the area. The settlement of Burketown attracts glider pilotsintent on riding this phenomenon.

About Morning Glory Cloud

Morning Glory clouds can be observed from Burketown from late September to early November. There are generally only a handful of well formed spectacular clouds during this period at Burketown. During the 2012 season there were only four to be seen from there, but quite a few ragged unspectacular cloud lines were seen. Often they start to break up before arriving at Burketown or pass to the north and only stay well formed over water. In an aircraft there is a significantly better chance of sighting the cloud.

A Morning Glory cloud is a roll cloud that can be up to 1,000 kilometres long, 1 to 2 kilometres high, often only 100 to 200 metres above the ground and can move at speeds up to 60 kilometres per hour. Sometimes there is only one cloud, sometimes there are up to eight consecutive roll clouds.

The Morning Glory is often accompanied by sudden wind squalls, intense low-level wind shear, a rapid increase in the vertical displacement of air parcels, and a sharp pressure jump at the surface. In the front of the cloud, there is strong vertical motion that transports air up through the cloud and creates the rolling appearance, while the air in the middle and rear of the cloud becomes turbulent and sinks.

The cloud can also be described as a solitary wave or a soliton or an undular bore, which is a wave that has a single crest and moves without changing speed or shape.

Why Did It Happen?

The Morning Glory cloud is not clearly understood because their rarity means they have little significance in terms of rainfall or climate.

Regardless of the complexity behind the nature of this atmospheric phenomenon, some conclusions have been made about its causes. Through research, one of the main causes of most Morning Glory occurrences is the mesoscale circulations associated with sea breezes that develop over the peninsula and the gulf. On the large scale, Morning Glories are usually associated with frontal systems crossing central Australia and high pressure in northern Australia. Locals have noted that the Morning Glory is likely to occur when the humidity in the area is high, which provides moisture for the cloud to form, and when strong sea breezes have blown the preceding day.

2. Sable Islan, 180 km southeast of Nova Scotia.
3. Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
4. The Campos dos Goytacazes bay in the state of Rio de Jeneiro, Brazil.
5. Batroun's shore (Lebanon — Middle East).

Although the cloud phenomenon is common every year in the Gulf of Carpentaria, scientists still do not know exactly how this beautiful clouds may form.

My new year's holiday spent with accompany juniors for seven full days out of town . My juniors are doing basic education to be a young member of our extracurricular . I'm part of a documentor , so my job just to document their activities . I hope to see the new year fireworks there , but apparently not . I could see only the tall trees and dark . On the 2nd of January 2014, the basic education activities had finished . And finally I can enjoy the holidays . Although half of my vacation in extracurricular used for activism , there are many stories that I get from these activities and quite enjoyable . Other than that I was sworn in as a full member of our extracurricular , and I'm very pleased . Vacation time left only three more days to relax , so I'm looking for activities that could make me happy . I ended up playing with my friend , walking around the mall , and so on . On the last day of vacation , I spent my time with my parents . The next day I'm back to work as a student . I was not going to school because I was very lazy and still want to vacation , but I want to increase the value of my lessons , so I was forced to go to school . That's my vacation , how about you ?

This scholarship category awards eligible students 25% of their first year of tuition. Curtin University recognises the long-standing relationship it has with these major South East Asian nations and this scholarship aims to grow the trust and confidence in Curtin University as a place for students to further their studies, careers and life experiences.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible students must:

• meet Curtin University's course academic and english language entry requirements
• be onshore full-fee paying international students
• be commencing a full undergraduate or master (coursework) degree in Semester 1, 2014 at Curtin University's Western Australian campuses

• Students cannot apply for this scholarship if they are in receipt of, or have applied for, any other Curtin University scholarship.

Enrolment requirements

Unless there are exceptional circumstances such as, but not limited, to medical or family reasons, students must meet ALL of the following:

• Remain enrolled in initial course of study and major
• Maintain a full time study load of at least 100 credit points each semester at Curtin University
• Must maintain a 'good standing' status
• Undertake a full program, with no CRL applied
• Must remain international students status through the duration of the scholarship period (penalities may apply for students who withdraw or are terminated from their scholarship year)
• If students are enrolling into a Masters’ degree, it must be a Masters’ degree with a minimum of 400 credits. If the Masters course is less than 400 credit points in duration then a 25% scholarship off the first semester of fees is applicable.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, a recipient with unsatisfactory progress or who breaches the scholarship conditions shall be ineligible to retain the scholarship. Exceptional circumstances must be forwarded to and shall be at the discretion of the Curtin International Office.

• A student with unsatisfactory progress or who breaches the scholarship conditions shall be ineligible to retain the scholarship. 
• Leave of Absence (LOA) is not permitted.
• This Scholarship is not transferable into any other course, major or university.

                             THBT DISSOLVE BOBOTOH

Bobotoh is the icon of the Bandung City,they always there when Persib plays,wearing blue costume and Persib scarf.Bobotoh is not limited to the people in Bandung who support Persib,it also encompasses they who lives outisde Bandung City.They make the match merrier,and enliven the game.But the problem here is they sometime act vandal and violent.Because of that problem, THBT dissolve the bobotoh.

Possitive Impact :

• The traffic will stay empty
• There will be no more act of violace caused by the clash between bobotoh fanbase and other fanbase from the other club
• The game will play safety

Negative Impact :

• The seller who sell clothes of persib will lose
• There is no motivator for persib
• Bandung will lose one icon, bobotoh.

Conclusion :

No problem when bobotoh remain in the community, as long as bobotoh play safely so as not to cause mischief or commotion on the road that later would interfere with the public.
